Zia had her first Easter this past Sunday.

The child loves Easter eggs. Jean was in town. We had a birthday party for Jamal - the first party we've thrown since moving last September. And now everyone is ill. Not from the food, but rather from the generous children with dozens of germs to share. Aren't they thoughtful? Anyhow, we get well quickly. Thanks to all of you who came to the party.
Love to all,
Jen
The moving has begun. Alex has been stuck with the bulk of it -- lucky him. I've been camped out at Sailaja's place this weekend writing BPS' technology plan -- 2 sections down, countless more to go. The big move is happening next weekend. We're treating our movers a.k.a. fabulous friends to a springtime BBO in rozzie. Not quite the same as the beacon -- who's going to tend to the grill? -- but it's grillin' time. We picked one up this weekend at Home Depot. Alex thought we should swing by the beacon to pick up the old one. Luckily, my persuasive skills won out.
OMG, we're homeowners!!
It's official. We're on record. Alex and I are officially homeowners -- well, condo owners. I prefer to think of it as a flat. According to some of the women I work with, I'm a Rozzie Girl now.
Check out
Roslindale, our new neighborhood. It has free wireless, jazz in the square, lots of locally-owned businesses, a great wine shop, a coffee shop (which we've been missing so much) and the best of all -- a greek diner.
