Missing summer already

Today we had one of those real first fall days in Boston. We headed outside of the city with Jenny, Antonio, Amina, and my parents to go apple, pear, and pumpkin picking. Well, it wasn't really pumpkin picking because we picked our pumpkin from the display in front of the barn but we did manage to pick 24 lbs. of apples and pears.

While I love fall -- it's my favorite season -- and October is a great time to be in Boston, especially when our beloved Red Sox advance in the playoffs (yes, I am a baseball fan), I can't help but miss the long(er) summer days and hanging out in the plaza in Rozzie at Sofia's, sipping on mojitos and pretending to be in Spain.
